Photo with 12 notes
Day 15: My photo opportunity came early today, as I took the time to wander around the CNE grounds after dropping Quinn off at work at the boat show. My first stop was the Prince’s Gate at the eastern edge of the CNE. The gates, built in 1927, are a truly unique example of Beaux Arts style architecture in Toronto. At the top surrounding “Winged Victory”, are a group of figures representing industry, education and the arts. What a shame we can only get a glimpse of them.
